We provide 91.411 and 91.413 certifications in order to satisfy the Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) part 91 requirements. Under these regulations, all transponder-equipped aircraft, both IFR and VFR, must have their transponder tested and certified every two years. Aircraft operating under IFR must have its altimeter(s), encoder, and static system tested and certified every two years.
An aircraft equipped with a transponder must also have their altimeter and encoder checked for data correspondence after the initial installation or following any subsequent modification or maintenance, under 91.217.
NOTE: Part 91 of the Federal Aviation Regulations also apply to Experimental Aircrafts.
